This not a conventional Library @ e-Curve

Searching for Friday night hangout post – (traumatic) mortem of assignments. Should you go for:

  • A. Friend’s home (aren’t you sick of it already after a whole week of staying in for assignments)
  • B. Mamak around the corner (You go there like everyday, don’t you?)
  • C. The Library – 6,000 sq. ft. space

3. Books are for display purposes only. The only book worth reading is the Cocktail Encyclopedia.

Braised Rabbit meat with mustard cream sauce (RM 55), Librarian beef burger served with fries (RM26.80) or even Welsh Rarebit (RM15) – dark beer and cheese on toast to go with your drinks and Ayam Percik (RM 32).

Some places offer jugs, towers or even giant pint of beers but here, they offer BARRELS - the first in Malaysia (yeah, you heard me...barrel – equivalent to 22 jugs or 40 pints) Meaning, you can have your own tap, don’t need to wait for your beer anymore.

Sweet temptations

An unsuspecting boyfriend enters his house to the sound of muffled lip smacking. Flinging open the bedroom door, he discovers his girlfriend doubled over in pleasure and surrounded by empty, elegant untied ribbon boxes.

BF: What’s going on here!?

 

GF: So tasty. I can’t control myself. It’s Godiva.

 

BF: Da, I thought you were satisfied?

 

GF: Me, too. Until I found out what this Lady Godiva can do with her hands. Creme brulee truffles! Creamy smooth praliné in a white chocolate heart! Hazelnut praliné!

 

BF: Stop! You’re too much!

 

GF: No, it is never too much of fine chocs. They are always fresh, and are usually less sweet and feature unusual textures and natural flavors. Plus, with crispy hazelnut praliné with small pieces of feuilletine in a triangular milk chocolate shell strewn with caramelized hazelnuts pieces, she’s richer than you’ll ever be.

 

BF: Well, I know one thing she can’t do.

 

GF: Yeah, right. She hits the sweet spot every time.

Prawn Search, ended up with Goat

I've never been a big fan of cooking shows. Consequently, my grasp of cooking world is a little hazy. All I know is to order and eat.

For help, I turn to mum =D

We headed to Chow Kit Pasar to get some cheap and fresh prawns. The experience was quite clumsy because I wore a slippery pair of sandals *doink*

Unfortunately, all the bigger prawns were gone by the time we got there, about 1.30pm. I searched the whole wet market but could only find a handful of leftover sea prawns. =(

On the bright side, mum got a huge papaya for only RM 4.00.
Do you know how to pick a nice papaya?
Look for those which is FAT and curvy.

And she 'ta pao' her favourite sup kambing. Located just outside Chow Kit wet market beside a textile shop with yellow sign board name "Sutra Rashidah". Same row with the Fire Station. A huge bowl of sup kambing is just for RM 3 - 4. Opens at noon until midnight.

The stall with blue and white stripe tent in the picture. Goat soup, Chicken soup and varieties of side dishes to go with the soup.

Well, looks like I have to eat out for dinner. My bad, I promised to cook something. Heading out to M Circle Opening @ Starhill, KL. It used to be Tiffin Bay, a cafe but Mike turn it into a club. Yeay, a new place to hang out at night!
