Singles Day @ Phuket 13 – 17 Feb

For some people the Valentine’s are about flowers, candlelight dinners, and presents. For others the 14 Feb is a celebration of freedom. The home is empty, and everyone else is busy lovey dovey with the other-half. What better time to skip town?

I decided to have an adventure with Kenny.

Hide away amid the cobblestones and beaches in lovely Phuket, Thailand. Well, despite Patong Town.

The island has fabulous beaches, galleries, great hawker food and a cross-section of culture influences: transvestite? Every five stores, there is a repetition of convenience store, tailor, and reflexology.

Hello, Melbourne!

It is really hard to believe I am jetting off to Australia…IMG_1172 But indeed, I was in a G5 and within 7 hours…

Pooof~! Here I am, arriving to the Crown Hotel, Melbourne. IMG_1173

Even harder to believe, the amount of alcohol I consumed for this trip is as much as all I have ever had in my life…serious!

And the food…gosh, I had all the weights removed from the suite so that I won’t feel guilt.

Of course, the main purpose of this trip…not to mention the super drying hot weather…Roger vs. Nadal!!!

And not forgetting shop, shop…shop! Spend most of my time shopping at Chapel Street. Made an impulsive buy on Herve Ledger blue/white stripe dress but luckily Mandy likes it too and bought it from me. Technically, I own it for 1 day =D

Oh, let’s check out the place that I stay in Crown. This suite is the entire floor of the building.

  • Four personal butler, two day shift/ another two night shift
  • Limo to make sure I don’t get lost and the Cristal
  • Spa and facial every morning where I sleep walk to (with my butler escorting me so I don’t bang onto the wall).
  • Met Roger Federer at the wrong timing where he was trying to have his own time @ Crown, Mahogany Room lounge after a 4 1/2 hours battle lost to Nadal. Didn’t talk much, pretending I didn’t know who he is, just “Hello, a little late huh?”
  • Met up with cousins unexpectedly for dinner and drinks at the hotel.
  •
Well, I am so loving Melbourne. The polite mannered people, the laid back lifestyle and bla bla bla. It’s true what they say: The sand is always, um, sandier somewhere else.
