Wedding planning has never been what I’d call a relaxing pursuit. Where? When? Cake? Silk? Satin? Flowers? Pictures? Videos? Night? Day?

First of all, I’ll make her sign this.
I, Chloe, will hire wedding coordinator cum sister, May, to wear the bossy pants and keep overbearing mothers, chatty maids, and drunken groomsmen in check.
The Registry
Okay, Malaysia does not have very clear Return-Policy except for IKEA (30 Days Return). Thus, getting the right gifts for this perfect couple is quite risky. Ask and you shall receive. I found out that Parkson@Pavilion has registry service. Sis, wanna go shopping?
The Invitations
The lovely guests need plenty of time to plan ahead for such big event. I should come up with a stunning save-the-date invitation with all the pertinent details. Seal them with a kiss and have them sent early. Wondering if I am allowed to invite my friends too.
The Informal Thank-You
Well, this better to give than to receive Or, at the very least, giving something back makes receiving sweeter. I’m suggesting her to print out informal thank you together with the invitation.
The Florist
Well, although I’m not looking forward to catch the bouquet after the ceremony but it is essential as it serves as one of the accessories. Moreover, Wan Shen’s sister is a florist; the place will be covered with petals!
The Photographer and Videographer
I proposed to have at least 3 person to photograph and capture the couple, me (duh), and every aspect of the wedding. And just so they will never forget a single thing about this day.
On top of that, anyone has done short film before who is free to help me out? I wanna document their love story with a personalized video.
Cake
Oh, DESSERT~! Can’t live with it, can’t live without it. At the reception, I will celebrate the crazy brideorexic diet on her behalf with a fancy cake from either Bakerzin or CeliCakes. Or maybe a tower of cupcakes with cute icing drawings on it. Oh, decisions, decisions.
Bridesmaids
ME? But I guess she already have a long list of applicants for this task. So, I’ll stick to the wedding coordinator.
Hair & Makeup
Just being there on the wedding day is not enough. She got to be there with a face that will look stunning after applying makeup in that I’m-so-naturally-beautiful way. So, fixing those crooked eyebrows, bad skin, and the heartbreak she engender (if she has any) are essential.
The Gown
She need gown that accentuates her assets and hides her flaws. I’ve been to a few wedding fashion shows and Carven Ong never fail to catch my attention.
The Venue and Caterer
Who should I leave the menu with? A delicious food and stunning presentation will ensure that the guests don’t go hungry, any idea? And the groom request for a stage with no karaoke facility (or at least made unavailable on that night)! As far as I remember, my dad was the only one singing on my brother’s wedding. It was good but just not my cup of tea.
The Entertainment
Well, she likes PeterPan (Indonesian Band). He shouldn’t spend a fortune hiring the superstar band. Any friends who would like to play for the night?
Oppss, I got too excited as if it is my wedding but anyway since weddings are a family affair, I am definitely in the friends-and-family plan.
